This year marks the 10th anniversary of artistic swimming in Brașov. It's been 10 years since our head coach, Ciohodaru Cristina started training the first girl in this magnific sport. So, as a result of her accomplishments and as a thank you to her, a few of her former and current trainees made her a surprise: a ten minutes long show for the 10th anniversary.
This event consisted of two parts: a dance choreography and an artistic swimming choreography. These girls only had five days to phisically train together, so they first prepared everything online, and then, when they got in the water, everyone knew what they had to do, and the only remaining thing was putting everything together. And the result was probably the best it could be, with only five days of trainings.
The choreography uses team bits, solos, duets and trios, to tell the story of artistic swimming in Brașov.
We owe special thanks for the girls who danced and created that beautiful choreography all by themselves, and the wonderful people who volunteered to help us with the filming.
And, last but not least, thank you to everyone who helped us keep the surprise a secret from Cristina, to the staff of Paradisul Acvatic for letting us use their pool and to Diapolo Hungary, who helped us with so many training gear.
